Nerys has almost twenty years’ experience working with farmers in an advisory capacity having worked for ADAS, NFU and AHDB. Originally from mid Wales, Nerys speaks Welsh fluently, and now lives in England with her husband and two children.

Favouring sheep, Nerys has worked with farmers on several aspects from business management, partial budgeting, and cash flow projections through to the key technical advice that drives much of the financials.

Nerys is a farm animal SQP (suitably qualified person, meaning she is qualified to advise and prescribe POM-VPS medicines such as wormers and flukicides). Nerys also works as a technical advisor to SCOPS (sustainable control of parasites in sheep).  Nerys enjoys analysing farm production data – scanning results, lamb growth rates and identifying targets alongside the farmer to drive growth. Nerys has a PhD in ewe body condition scoring and the impact that has on ewe and lamb performance.
