Elaine Rees Jones is an independent farm diversification mentor providing support to farming families either 1 to 1 or in small groups.

Elaine’s’ specialist areas are Poultry and Renewable Energy where she mentors, supports and motivates throughout the formation of the enterprise. Her support is continual throughout the process until operational.

To date Elaine has worked with many businesses with poultry, renewable energy and tourism projects – along with many other interesting diversification projects, such as wedding barns, funeral director and agri food projects.

Elaine has worked within the agriculture sector throughout all her working life, having had roles within the butchery sector, ATB/Lantra Training sector, Wynnstay Farmers in direct sales along with marketing and as a facilitator & Mentor for Farming Connect.

Mother of 3 daughters Farmers Wife & Farmers Daughter Elaine was born in Montgomeryshire on upland Beef & Sheep unit. Since 2008 she has lived in Pentrefoelas, North Wales where she is a partner with her husband on an upland tenanted farm. The unit is traditionally a Beef & Sheep unit, although the couple have appetite for change having diversified into renewables and poultry production.
