1987-2009- IGER/IBERS for 22 years. Ten years as lead officer for sheep, beef and environmental management systems at IGER Grassland Development Centre.

2009 Started Charlie Morgan Grassmaster Ltd and has been employed across the UK and Sweden by the Red Meat Levy bodies, Farming Connect, AHDB and various Agencies, Supply chain companies and primary producers.

2002 He was a Hybu Cig Cymru – Meat Promotion Wales Scholar, studying technology transfer methods and adult learning techniques in New Zealand and Australia.

2014 He was awarded Associate member of Royal Agricultural Societies (ARAgS) for distinguished service for Grassland and Technology Exchange.

2020 He was elevated to FRAgS (Fellow)

Secretary of the Welsh Federation of Grassland Societies for the last 18 years. He is a named author on over 60 scientific publications

He has written booklets and articles for Levy Bodies and have numerous press articles over the last 15 years.
